...and February is almost here

Ready for another month to begin, we managed to get out while the weather was nice for a bunch of walks around the neighbourhood and around town. Anomantia loves her Snuggli and doesn't mind the carseat for shorter trips. She went for her first walk while it was snowing this past week and again today. She doesn't like having her head covered and tried to catch the snowflakes on her tongue the whole time we were out. So far this colder weather doesn't seem to bother her at all... it was -15 degrees Celcius out on this morning's walk. Hopefully February won't be as cold even though it is typically our coldest month of the year.

...more January...

As you can see, Anomantia is ever changing her facial expression. This month has been full of life changing adventures with something new everyday. On January 25th we were cleared for light activity by our doctor... Anomantia experienced the public swimming pool for the first time that afternoon. She loves water, so long as it isn't too hot or cold. she loves her baths and the shower too, so long as the water doesn't splash her in the face.

Thank you to the Simcoes for this cute little outfit, the toque is one that she doesn't seem to mind wearing (plus she can't pull it off!).

January 2010...

Anomantia loves her swing and sleeps through just about any thing. Here she is on the 19th of January 2010 in the awesome sweater from Moster Birtha Andersen (thanks... she loves it!)
Sorry it took so long to post these pictures, life has been busy and full of new activities. Anomantia now smiles and is far more interactive when stimulated. She also follows noises and lights. She kicks her legs and shakes her arms when happy or excited and curls up when mad or distressed (crying). Life is changing everyday.

Anomantia's 1 month old!

Here she is, Anomantia Soleil Mowton Gurney, born December 16th, 2009. At one month old, she has a plethora of facial expressions and tones to her cries. She has rolled from back to her sides several times and from tummy to back once.

Life has completely changed in Gurneyland with her arrival and domination of our home and time... not to forget her cuteness (especially when sleeping), we can't help but stare at her and can't wait for more interaction. I'll keep you posted.
